Data Scientist / Data Engineer

Phinest is a Prague-based AI consultancy hiring a mid-level Data Scientist / Data Engineer to build data pipelines and applied AI systems for UK consumer goods clients.

You will take work from prototype to production: build LLM pipelines, deploy them, and work directly with clients to understand what they need. You will start by delivering alongside the team and, over time, become the main contact for the clients you work with.

The team includes people who worked at H2O.ai on enterprise data science and built deep learning tools.

• 2+ years of professional Python experience and experience delivering AI work into production
• Generative AI applications you have built and shipped and can talk through in concrete terms
• Solid understanding of LangChain, LangGraph, and LangFuse
• Clear written and spoken English and confidence working directly with clients to turn business problems into technical work

Azure or Databricks experience is useful, as is classical ML: classification and regression with XGBoost, explainability with SHAP, or working with messy tabular data, feature engineering, and production deployments.
